I have just talked with a lovely friend about her new job. What an excitement! I feel alive again! How amazing it is to work for Red Cross or similar organisations. So humane, in a world that promotes carelessness, complacency, and self-satisfaction through excessive consumption. A really fulfilling career! [This term reminds me Roman Krznaric's book, Salute Mr.Kraznaric, salute Ms.Katy!]
I never conceived that the first post of my blog would be related to such topic. It is a great place to start, however. A reminder, a lighthouse.
If any similar organisation needs a data analyst, I would be more than happy to embark on such careers. It may be a good time to follow Data Science for Social Good(DSSG) more closely, and more actively.
Btw, this weblog would be about ... me! I would share my thoughts, my comments, and my works related to various topics and phenomenons, from video games and board games to veganism and vegetarianism, to statistical analysis of crime, to evaluation of efficiencies of countries and so on so forth. A quantitative AND qualitative approach to such topics, as neither of these two should be ignored. Thus, I write to discover myself, to motivate myself, to express myself, and to become myself.
Assuming that writing a blog is a sort of "writing", then let's end with precious words of Gustave Flaubert :
"The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe."
